Riverwalk is an Active Community that Will Bring Family Recreation and World-Class Competition Together.
Through a public-private partnership the Assured Group and City of Rock Hill are planning facilities including the YMCA, Velodrome, parks and athletic fields. This is an offering unique to the region. Facilities and events will foster health, wellness and athleticism while providing a community-based environment that supports sports and entertainment. Locally, it will be a venue for families to bike, hike and play; a hub for organized athletic teams; and a meeting place for local cycling and kayaking clubs. Nationally, it will be recognized as a world-class training center for Olympic and professional cyclists as well as a host of championship events.
