Rock Hill School District

The Rock Hill School District (RHSD) is one of South Carolina’s most progressive districts. With 27 schools and multiple centers serving almost 17,700 students daily, it’s the 11th largest of 82 districts in the state and the largest of four districts in York County.

Our vision is having a community which inspires students to LEARN, GROW, CONNECT AND THRIVE.

Our mission is to provide all students with challenging work that authentically engages them in the learning process and prepares them for successful futures.

RHSD Success

District Leadership
The key to the RHSD’s success starts with leadership at the board, superintendent and administrative level and continues on with strong leadership at the school level.

Award-Winning Teachers
In the past seven years, two RHSD teachers have earned the coveted S.C. Teacher of the Year honor and four have been named state finalists.

Community Support
The citizens of Rock Hill expect excellence in their schools and are supportive with their time, talents and financial resources. Parents at all grade levels are encouraged to become actively involved in their child’s education, and the RHSD gladly provides opportunities for anyone who wants to volunteer to support students and staff.
